Name: Shyla [a.k.a Shy]
Description: Shyla has a long, slender body, though her fur is a bit whiter than the other cheetahs'. Unlike most other cheetahs, Shy's eyes are really a glassy dark blue color. Her tail is a bit shorter than the average cheetah and she could pass for an already adult cheetah. On her left back leg, a spot differentiates from all of the others. Like a birthmark, the spot was shaped as a crescent moon that faces to the right. All four of her paws are pure white with black spots -Shyla-
Gender: Female
Personality: Shyla is a pretty well-tempered cheetah. She isn't easily distracted or annoyed, but very few things can get her angry. Though she is only a few months away from maturity, Shy doesn't seem to very much like any of the other male cheetahs. Her eyes sometimes drift into the sky, usually during sunset to think about her family. She often misses her sister and mother, but tries to hide it by hunting. She likes to be dominant. The cheetah likes to be in charge, whether it’s a big group or a small pack, she’ll be the boss. Shy is rarely snappy. On occasion, she’ll threaten another cheetah if she feels threatened herself. She’s a natural-born leader and she always feels that her sister and mother should have stayed with her… No matter how hurt she is, she’ll stay strong and try to get back on her paws.
Age: 18 months
History: Shyla was born with one other sister, who left shortly after their mother died. Her mother died from a terrible sickness when she and her sister were only five months. Her sister had run away to find a new life, while Shyla stayed in a cave where she lived off of mice. Shyla had to find a better place to live, so she left as well, in search of somewhere safe and warm. Shy never understood how her mother had died. She had seemed healthy the day before and then she suddenly died. She remembered hearing a loud bang and never seeing her mother. As for her sister, she had begged her not to leave, but she had already made up her mind. And she never changed her mind. Shy always hoped her sister would come back, but she never did. She had stayed in the cave for over a week. By the time she left, she was starving, dehydrated, and ill. She would die soon if she didn’t find a good place to live. Eventually, she collapsed from exhaustion, fainting for a while. When she woke up, she found herself feeling stronger and in an unknown place where she had never seen before. She was fed some warm milk and meat and she was surrounded by other cheetah cubs, as well.
